I have no ads/revenue from visits to any of the boorus or the altchan, they all 100% burn money and make 0 money and never will, I will never add ads or bitcoin miners or something. My initial thought behind making the boorus was because I wanted the boorus, the secondary thought was "well I guess the Source attribute thing can help people learn about the existence of the altchan". So yes it is partly for marketing/shilling, even though I make no money out of any of this, I just want there to exist an altchan that has some activity, all altchans are dead 24/7 by default. To be clear never once have there been raids or advertising-style posts, the only path is "filenames have booru names -> some of the booru images are tagged by altchan users -> people see the source URL and check it out"
