I gave one a chance and it ended up being the single biggest mistake of my life. bpd itself isn't abusive but lack of emotional regulation and impulsiveness feeds into abusive behaviors. Maybe someone with bpd can rise above the bpdemon memes, but it would have to be a person who works at it, seeks out help, and is very self aware.
