AI is now literally vibe-coding me apps to do my entire job. I started uploading excel spreadsheets to Gemini, and asking it to generate reports. Today Gemini was fucking up so I tried the new Claude Opus 4.8, and not only did it nail the report on the first try, but it was like, hey you know, I can just code you an app that can do this without using up your token usage. And it did. It wrote me my own app that I have saved on my PC. And it works even faster than asking AI to do it. It generates a beautiful, perfect, accurate report in .docx format that would've taken me 3-4 hours of work in less than 3 seconds. All I have to do is upload the excel spreadsheets. I don't even need to be connected to the internet.This is an absolute game changer. I can't believe I'm living through this. If you think that AI is just a bubble that's going to go away, you're wrong. This is the future. And it's only getting better.
