I didn't enjoy Super Mario Sunshine all that much and i played it as a kid, so that's with the benefit of nostalgia. The movement tech was cool I just didn't really enjoy the combat aspect and also thought cleaning up ink was a chore. I don't like things in games that feel like chores, it's why I don't enjoy games like house flipper. The best parts of the game were when you entered those self contained areas in levels where you'd jump along floating platforms and try to reach the end.I like ranting about vidya games here because /v/ is mean and will make the thread about black people or donald trump.
>>13023832same....... literallly the same...i finished super mario sunshine in a week and never looked back.... i still play super mario 64 sometimes
>>13023832tbf i like minecraft and that involves chores, but it's different when the game isn't forcing you to do it. Grinding of your own free will is fundamentally more enjoyable than doing something because you have to.>>13023836I'm glad I'm not alone in this. I love SM64, I actually grew up with the DS version, N64 was slightly before my time (im zillenial). That being said, I played the original later on and it is far superior the DS version. I do like the idea of remaking a game and adding new things to it, rather than remaking it 1:1, but SM64DS is a bad example of that.
>>13023842forgot my clover, how embarrassing
>>13023842lol i still loved sm64 ds..... it was my first ds game and i played the shit out of it...... but yeah, the original is still one of the best games out there.... and mind you i used to be a sega kid
>>13023832>/v/ is mean and will make the thread about black people or donald trump.lol
>>13023832super mario sunshine is the only one I haven't played. I been thinking about busting out my n64, and replaying super mario 64, though, I own super mario sunshine and I do need to at least give it one chance, sorry super mario sunshine, galaxy just feels way better,
