there isn't improvement they only took their time with the drawing on the right. if you can't see that - the volume of the tie, the failure to do the back hands, the fact the linework is no better only more refined, the shading technique is the same just more layers etc,- well maybe it's already over for you.

Also drawing is a better exercise than comparing yourself with others, especially when you can't tell what they're ACTUALLY doing to "improve".
