I just took a good look at the harmless little spider that I have been keeping patiently under a glass for over a week with no food or water. Its movements seem to be getting a little more frantic, and it has spun a little cobweb system toward the bottom of the glass. It hasn't bothered to venture toward the top of the (inverted) glass. Very hardy little fellow.I turned off all the lights and put a flashlight on the glass, and this showed me how the cobweb has been affixed to points inside the glass. This seemed to agitate the little guy. I look forward to cleaning the glass out after the spider has died of thirst and hunger.
