This board was created as an April Fool's joke, a play on sh*t reddit says where at the height of woke, people would post things that people said that offended their sensibilities. People calling themselves "normal" as opposed to trans for example, and a bunch of stuff about checking "privilege", eg a white person has white privilege, they wil never experience racism like a black person etc. The board began ironically checking privilege and asking each other to be nice. This site in general is known for being offensive, and this board became an ironic antithesis of that, where every one would be nice and check their privilege and dubs. Funposting and "Nice" became the board theme, as it doesn't really have a reason to exist as except a sa joke that kept going. This nice theme then manifested itself into a character, a mascot if you will, by the power of funposting alone
