Pic unrelated Sorry 4chan have to get this off my chest, this was almost 1 year ago

My grandma falls a lot and a bad one was last year, I heard a bang and found her at the bottom of the stairs with blood rapidly spreading on the hardwood floor and she had hit her head real bad
she got dizzy coming down the stairs, luckily someone else was there and helped me call an ambulance but she made awful horrid gurgling noises as I held her head and I can still feel my hand resting on a soft spot on the side she landed on while I made her spit blood out of her mouth so she could breathe and I can't get over it.She was convulsing and I tried to put my hand on hers and she stopped moving after about two minutes and I thought I was holding her dead body
I tried to take her glasses off and they were stuck in her scalp.I didn't realize she had also fractured a few bones so I was unknowingly causing her more pain by tilting her to have her spit blood out. my neighbors luckily heard the sirens and helped me as I sobbed and they wiped the blood off my hand and I just remember seeing dried blood still under my fingernails
I can feel the hot blood on my hands as they took her away. Her face was blown up like a balloon when I drove to the ER and her eyeball was bleeding like she was crying blood. Everytime I'm out of the room and I hear a big bang I think I'm gonna find her again, I'm literally living somewhere else now and I still think of it everyday. It keeps me up at night and sometimes I still can't sleep. I can't go back into the house without immediately seeing the shape of her still body on the floor at the base of the stairs so I cover my eyes and my other hand on the railing until I make it up the stairs and I got her necklace and ring she was wearing back in a biohazard baggie the nurse gave me and they were covered in blood and I let things sit in the baggie for two weeks before I could even manage to open it to clean them. She's alive but I can't deal with this memory.

Thank you for your story.
I don't mind it at all.
The past is just the past.
Just let it seep and go.

sorry that happened to you all, OP

jesus, dude. this is PTSD and you need treatment for it. the trick is finding a mental health professional who can actually do that and isn't just """trauma informed""" because they attended a several-hour workshop about it and are now familiar with the concept. (also paying for it because the decent ones don't waste their time getting dicked over by insurance companies.)

that's not strictly true, I found a very good one through insurance, but yeah OP is clearly traumatized and needs help sorting it out
