That's a false equivalence, and I admit, centuries might have been just hyperbole, but it won't happen in our lifetime.
Bioengineered catgirl maids are unlikely to ever happen, due to our morality. Freedom and so on.
Luxury space communism, is mainly hampered by how expensive, difficult, and long it takes to build things in space.
Even if we take away expenses and difficulty, it will simply take too long, as there is no way to escape the need for iterative design and long term physical testing.

I design telecom satellites and AI helps me do it faster with fewer people, which is good because I was struggling to hire non-retards to join my team anyway. If you have any engagement with the real world you learn quickly enough that many, if not most people have negative net value/contribution to anything. A lot of people are cows, but you can't even milk or eat them.

I'm not advocating for any kind of culling or anything I'm just saying yknow. A lot of people are useless but AI is useful. I guess if you're some sort of technological regression advocate then sure fine, get off the internet. Reduce the demand.
