What is the reason that endometriosis gets little attention or funding?I recently learnt about this disease i had no idea existed. Millions of women get endometriosis, a chronic disease that causes lifetime pain that makes it impossible to live a normal life. It is the most common disease in the female reproductive system. But the cause of it is a mystery because it has barely been studied. Most people don't know about it. It has very little research funding to find a cure. It is funded less than diabetes, HIV, many minor diseases, and even male pattern baldness.
>>16987070>womenthere's your answermen don't get affection and a sense of belonging, so women don't get medicineit's ancient patriarchal tradition
>>16987070its just dey culcha
>>16987070>endometriosis gets little attentionCheck your premise.
>>16987070>I recently learnt about this disease i had no idea existed. >It has barely been studied. Most people don't know about it. It has very little research funding to find a cure. This reads like the "Spot Bleeding" sketch from 1980s Saturday Night Live.
>>16987172>the "Spot Bleeding" sketch from 1980s Saturday Night Live.wtf are you talking about?
>>16987276There was a guy on Weekend Update complaining about a rare medial condition he had called "Spot Bleeding" that wasn't being taken seriously by the medical community. The news anchor asked the guest if he was wearing a new shirt. He said yes and the anchor asked if he remembered to take out all of the little pins used to keep the shirt nicely folded. The joke worked in that era because most men still wore dress shirts and most dress shirts had tons of little pins in them as part of the packaging process. The audience of the time understood this so the joke worked. Today it would likely fall flat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6HoY0bGSzo
>>16987070By being a woman I know about this disease ever since I was a teen. Glad I don't have it. Anyway nowadays there's birth control pills that massively reduce endometriosis symptoms, that's your research.
>>16987071>so women don't get medicine But there is medicine and research. You're just retarded
>>16987926yes, and there is some men who aren't abrasive assholes due to intellectualized alienation all the time, but exceptions make the rule
>>16987070isn't that boy too young to be a doctor?
>>16987924.t
>>16987070Woman disease so no attention. That's the primary reason.

women already live 5 years more than men on averagetheir diseases should be studied even *less*
