IQ tests are a social construct and not based on objective reality. I could create an exam about anything to my own liking, call it an IQ test, and if you fail my exam then I have the authority to call you a retard. And if you disagree with my statement then I can also call you a coper that's denying reality.Obviously that sounds utterly retarded but it's exactly how IQ tests are created: somebody (or a group of people) created a test to their own liking to determine who is smart and who is retarded. All of these tests are created subjectively (even if it may supposedly be backed by "objective research"), given to the masses and brainwashed to the masses that you're a retard if you fail the test. Nevermind measuring the intelligence of one based on their actual achievements and capabilities, just some dumb retarded faggots test will be enough to do it apparently.You can however measure the physical body in an objective measure: muscle mass, height, weight, how much you can bench press, how fast you can run, how flexible you sre, etc. but we cannot do the same for intelligence. Determining who's smart and who's retarded is based om subjective, human judgement, thus a social construct and not based on objective reality.

You’re right in the sense that intelligence is difficult to define. However, we know that people whom we generally agree are intelligent tend to excel at pattern recognition, and that pattern recognition often plays a role in their accomplishments. The tests are largely built around pattern recognition.
IQ tests a specific form of intelligence that basically measures being able to spot patterns. It is not even the most efficient way to spot pattern recognition. But it is good for filtering people who would be good at STEM and music. Some people learn pattern recognition by doings hands on things and spotting the differences. While others can look at squiggly lines on a piece of paper and excell.
