>>16990395There are plenty of schemes like this that "obviously" work but they have a downside of not solving the issue merely treating the symptoms. If you implement this kind of thing you can indeed bring down global temperatures but the second you stop the temperatures come back all at once. This has the double side effect where first you have to actively pay to do this forever and should you stop the sudden jump in temperatures in couple years is going to be even more devastating to ecosystems and human economies than a more "gradual" rise over decades which is still mostly too fast for ecosystems to adapt. There's also lots of political issues when you just allow someone to fuck with the planets climate, Russia for instance probably prefers warmer temperatures while places like Brazil or India would benefit from actually dropping them down from pre industrial values, if you allow anyone to start actively messing with climate then you can bet different nations will start competing schemes to adjust it the way that's advantageous to them specifically. Even if some kind of global consensus is reached on some scientific optimum it's still not a good idea to make the whole planet a rentoids to jews that now literally control the climate.
>>16990606Just do it until the ice comes back. Then you no longer need to do it for a while because the ice sheets have higher albedo and oceans will be cooler and will take some time to rise again. I also think the risk of millions of refugees from island territories and hot countries flooding into cooler nations and damaged agricultural output in already hot nations will be pretty convincing to maintain temperature at contemporary levels.
