They're not, you're observing survivor bias. Consider, hot and not crazy = taken for life. Hot and crazy = series of realizations that oh shit, that bitch crazy and breakups. Who do you think is still left in the dating pool. And, based on nothing but a gut feeling, which is the only way to do science, I'd say the crazy ones are the most likely to cheat and stay in the dating pool even if in a relationship.

Well you see when someone is really good at something they believe it automatically boosts all their other traits, that being said to be good at something you have to do it better than others, which the world so happens to have a lot of women with paint enhancing their features to look exactly like your ex.
