Just finished my engineering masters degree and I had a realization after all these years of math being shoved down my throat. It seems to me that muh math is believed to be a universal truth, describes the world etc etc. Yet whenever it breaks down in someway, we talk about it like it isn't a big deal. Like how can the infinite sum of 1/x^2 converge while 1/x diverge when you think about it logically? How can the sum of all the natural numbers be - 1/12 ? The Wright brothers didn't need to know wtf the navier stokes equations were to build their airplane, Michael Faraday didn't need to know what maxwell equations were to discover induction. So seriously, is this bullshit just a set of rules (((they))) made up to fit unexplainable phenomenon, and when it doesn't work out, (((they))) just make a new set of rules?

Science tries to explain all phisical phenomenons as rational and accurate possible, the thing is that we are just humans, so it will never accomplish completely its purpose. At practice, it can be see as you say, made up rules that just fit our observations of the world, but they also can predict the existence and behaviour of phenomenons, as it was with the black holes, predicted by theory before being observed.
Just my thoughts, though

Universal truth doesn't refer to the external world, but to the limits of thought. Example: picture a square with five sides, not a pentagon. You can't do it. That the world seems to obey mathematical models is useful. (Of course, there's no logical reason why that must be the case, but it seems to work out, hence the Einstein quote "the most surprising thing about the world is that it is interpretable.") Therefore, physics is just the most precise way to think about the world and engineering is about using parts of those models to solve real world problems.

If you were actually capable of logical thought, you wouldn't struggle with that. You can look up the definitions and proofs.

Math is just a model, it is not the thing itself. Mathematicians want to believe they uncovered some deep truth about how the universe works, but at best its a vague approximation. Only natural numbers and Euclidian geometry are "real", the rest of it is just an approximation for book keeping.

Everything you wrote there is wrong.

Everything you wrote there is wrong, therefore everything or some of what he wrote there is actually right. I accept concessions in the mail

Everything that isn't hard engineering is a made-up fantasy

as much as i hate (((them))), Mathematics is in it if itself, it belongs to neither Gentile or (((jew)))

>Euclidian geometry are "real"
Another victim of the cartesian system
