every dimension is an infinite amount of their previous i.e. 1st dimension is an infinite row of 0 dimensional "positions" or dots, 2nd dimension is an infinite row of well "rows" or lines, etc. but nothing can go on forever unless the universe has infinite mass which brings out a whole other can of worms, so by any logical standpoint gravity would take effect and curve the dimension, the 1st dimension is length, 2nd height, 3rd depth. a common misconception is that the 4th dimension is time? that's extremely stupid in my opinion because there's an obvious split between SPACE and TIME, hell you can ask a 4th grader that, and since we're talking about spacial dimensions ( i don't even wanna think about temporal dimensions ) that wouldn't make any sense. A 2 dimensional plane seen from a 3 dimensional point of view is just a sphere, a 3 dimensional plane from a 4 dimensional point of view is well us, the universe around us, call it a hyper-sphere like on wikimedia, at least for me it is possible to imagine something with infinite depth, that is our universe, our universe though is a 4th dimensional body moving through a 5th dimensional plane that is why it is expanding even though to us (if we had the technology) it would be infinite, so even though the object that we call "our" universe or at least the universe that we inhabit is moving extraordinarily slow to us through a 5th dimensional space and that is why I believe we're nothing but a spec of dust in another plane of existence, the big bang was merely the first time something outside the boundaries of our concept of reality nudged us and doomed us to this existence. we could very well exist merely because something outside our reality farted and made the universe move through their version of space enough to give us more mass. also it just came to me randomly I really like the idea of calling the 4th dimension "gain" whyever
what and how much did you smoke?
