My electricity usage in a (very) small commieblock apartment (concrete cube) with central heating has been around 60kwh/MONTH. I have been running a high end gaming PC+monitor continuously and home appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, stove, coffee maker etc.) almost daily + lights. Is this any way possible in reality? or is the meter defective? I feel like it should be way higher, and it's almost always the same number.
yeah seems way to low
>>17014122As a doctor in gender studies, it's quite strange.Do you have access to your meter to physically see the counter for your power? just turn everything off and if it's still going you're getting your power stolen.Sometimes companies estimate, you can request a physical inspection. And fuck back off to /adv/ we're intellectuals here.
>>17014122The average home uses about 900 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity each month. They might be mixing the average kWh out between other tenants (or they don't have the equipment implemented for individual measurements).
>>17014122If you only have one screen and don't you know actually run your computer very hard it seems pretty reasonable if on the low end. Mine is around 100 with similar setup. Your freezer/refrigerator are probably the second biggest power draw beyond the PC and if those are energy efficient then I don't see why it couldn't be possible.
>>17014150>The average home uses about 900 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity each monthYou mean the average amerifat home
>>1701412260kWh/month seems a little bit too low. I can't get my electric consumption to go below 100kWh/month and I don't use any heating/cooling of any kind
