Now what? I never really had any faith in dark matter/energy. They could never define what it was or how it was causing the expansion of the universe or anything else about it really...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqLypHXK-bs
>>17016490Yes, just like 99.99999% of science
bump for at least one damn reply
>>17016491They had fucking years to explain anything about it and did none of it.
>>17016490Slyentists chasing imaginary particles they invented in their heads. It's like ghost hunting but with billions of dollars
>>17016494Unironically Gwaihir spent those years actually breaking shit down and getting to the root of the matter
>>17016491That's not atheism, atheism just means i don't beleave in a god. I can still beleave that the earth is flat and be an atheist. I also don't have to beleave anything acutally. Beeing an atheist just means that i beleave in one thing less than other people: the exsistance of a or multible gods.
>>17016692So it's a faith based argument?
>>17016696Yes I have faith that I accidentally developed logic that is accidentally exactly true

>>17016490>>17016602>measure real mass anomaly>call it "dark matter" because it behaves like that (gravitation but no other interactions)>nooooo you just made it up!you faggots are so retarded>>17017418they did not invent dark matter to balance gravitons or whatever that bullshit saysdark matter is based on fairly simple astronomical observations
>>17017423Lol no it isn't. And he has the order reversed. Dark matter came first. A Catholic priest invented the big bang theory based on the story of creation in the bible to explain cosmological red shift and then everyone pretended like it was so fucking genius. Problem is it's not true and it doesn't match the findings of the universe. So when you try to cram the universe into a big bang theory you have to explain why the universe isn't working the way that you observe it to be. The first iteration of this caused dark matter to be theorized. But of course if you have enough dark matter to make the universe make sense compared to the observations of it now it no longer works again so now you have to add dark energy, by the end you get an equation that makes no fucking sense and a worldview where 96% of the universe is bullshit. The solution to this, of course, is that the big bang theory is bullshit. But it's sacred in cosmology so nobody's allowed to question it.
>>17017428nigger I am not talking about the big bang "theory", which is hardly a theory at all
