why were people the only creatures to evolve being scared of the dark
Anon, the dark is fucking scary.The lion hunts mostly at night. I once saw this thing about monkeys that all take shelter in a cave at night. They seem wary of the dark too. Even though it was pitch black in the cave. The TV thing got some night cameras in there to film the monkeys in the dark. They didn't get up to anything though, they just got their heads down and had a kip.

>>17018089Apparently it's a myth that bats can see. The Egyptian fruit bat can see relatively well, and even then still only uses its distance vision, and relies on echolocation close by. In fact the majority of mammals are almost blind compared to us. Our other senses are fairly typical, our hearing has a limited range, but great precision, it's that our eyesight is out of this world, so it overshadows the other senses.
