starship likely needs all engines lit to get off the pad, not like if one or two goes out mid-ascent it can carry on nominally because it's lighter at that point. if four engines failed to light that would abort the launch sequence immediately because it wouldn't even make it off the pad. will be interesting to hear what happened there.
