What would be more difficult/impressive for one person to do: Creating a time machine that only goes forward in time with the user not being to come back, or developing an artificial super intelligence that invents backwards time travel with ease?

>>17018712I think the forward one would be useless cos no one could verify the time travel. I'd you went forward X amount of years, everyone else would have to wait to catch up and you'd have moved on even farther. The backwards one might be good cos you could be like, "watch, I'll go back in time and buy stocks and you can see my bank account change", but then again I dunno if doing that would mean your bank account would appear to have always been at the new value, thus negating any witnessing of the change.You could always go back in time and meet yourself and show people that.
