So, Humanity will literally create gas stations in space rather than fixing our problems here. Like, couldn't we freaking end scarcity here first before creating more scarcity on Mars? Do the math, every Human body on Earth can fit in the Grand Canyon alone... One garage could produce a product for each person on earth every 10 years. Literally, mother nature naturally produces and squanders 1000 times more than humanity can consume, if done sustainable. Automated production of automated production will change the world over night.
>>17022613Who is this humanity and why are you posting this garbage when you could have donated your device to a starving african child already? Or is this one of those "other people should do it while I enjoy my stuff" type of deals which is what people are doing when they would rather go to space and "fix stuff"
>>17022616The potential is there, scientifically, to end scarcity so that (You) can be free to improve yourself, and work on your own interests, rather than becoming medial labor for exploitative companies. So, when the global corporate oligopoly has you living on a subscription basis, and all of your extra time and energy goes to appeasing that dependency, you're going to ridicule the people who want to buck that system for your benefit?
>>17022613Q2: what machine, or a set of it is responsible for creating all other mechanical part.
Athiests on life support!
>society has to solve x before any progress on y is allowedultimate midwit thinking
>>17022613But some dumb mummy though if she hung peoples sexuality to a limited space she would have get interest with her procreation. Any all the men in control just let her expand carefree without safe guards..
>>17022702No one wants to wage slave in space/explanation and moons for good reason anon.
>>17022613The Grand Canyon's in the middle of the desert. If you crammed every human on earth in there, they'd all die of heat, starvation and rattlesnake bites. Not a viable plan.
>>17022759Like imagine if the company you work for went under and no one bought up the assets or did a takeover. Like are you stranded in space or does the government have to burn possibly billions rescuing people? What about insurance fraud?
>>17022759No clue what you're talking about. There are a lot of engineers that make good money in aerospace
>>17022613There are million gas stations on earth. Whats 1 more in space? If you want more money, steal it from people who buy cigarettes
>>17022613>couldn't we freaking end scarcity here first before creating more scarcity on Mars? Not profitable for the 0.1% in the short term, next suggestion?
>>17022613>One garage could produce a product for each person on earth every 10 years. What do you mean by that?
>>17022779In space anon. Key workd being in actual space.
>>17022628>why would cells ever differentiate when there’s still room in the pond for more amebae to languish?
>>17022824ok well you're still wrong. There's plenty of people that want to be a space welder
>>17022628Do you really think that a society where only a minority have jobs and the rest is just given free money and does whatever they want all the time could work?
>>17022840NTA but sure, why not? It just wouldn’t be the coolest thing you could do.
The near earth asteroids have enough resources for billions or trillions of humans. The problem is getting cost of launch to low earth orbit closer to air freight prices.Otherwise, there will be a resource crisis or demographic crisis in 30-100 years.Mars is irrelevant, the real wealth is in the nearth asteroids. Ive done the research and theres enough resources for billions of humans.
>>17022842I don't see it working. Something has still to convince me how it could work. Everyone gets the same amount of money and can buy the same things?, do you think majority of people will still read and learn to do things and not just drink, party and consume entertainment all the time? Work has the function of justifying who can buy better things because they studied more or worked more. In that society people will have no motivation to do anything. Why would I study Physics if I'm not going to get anything in return and I will have the same things that my neighbor that plays videogames all day?
>>17022844I mean what you wrote here >>17022840 is basically working right now. If you color it with perfect equality of spending power, you can’t even get two people to agree on that, let alone everyone, so I assumed you meant being allowed to roam around freely like a free range chicken without having to be somewhere doing something that someone else is telling you to do.
>>17022784Gas stations on earth help people exist, gas stations in space help monopolies grow.
>>17022613Successful ragebait.
>>17024602Gas statsions help rich people enjoy their monopolies on cars grow. Cars are just rich people's toys. Tax the thousanaires!!Eat the thousanaires!!
Its a shitshow. They think they have to do Greatness Underground. Then its Still an Everungiving.:(
>>17022613>end scarcityEnd all time high profits to supply generous social programs?!
