I believe space is quantized, like in a cubic tessellation form.

so earth is not a sphere?
>>
>>17024952
It is. The side length of the cubes that tessellate space is just very small, allowing basically all shapes to be approximated.

>pi=4
Ok retard.
>>
>>17024998
This
Taxi cab geometry would cause all sorts of fucked up problems in reality like pi being 4 or the hypotenuse of a right triangle just being as long as the longer leg instead of pathagorean if you built it IRL aligned with the universes axis
>>
>>17024952
nothing is really a sphere
>>
>>17025004
math is just an estimation tool though, it's not reality
>>
>>17025007
If you in real life has a one meter board and nailed it at a right angle to a two meter board, how long would you expect the rope to be if you tied a rope between the ends? Would you expect the ropes length to change massively if you rotated the whole contraption in 3d space? Because in a voxel universe the rope would be changing bigly constantly
>>
>>17025007
no, reality is just a subset
>>
>>17024932
but my math professor says its not though
>>
>>17024932
Why do you believe that?
>>
>>17024932
Nah it’s a rhombic dodecahedron
