Every subjective opinion, idea, or feeling has an objective reason for why someone has it. There are reasons why you like the food you like, why you found a joke funny, or why you prefer one movie to another. You could analyze your own opinions, and create theories of taste/humor/fear/etc/etc, to understand why you feel the way you do about something. For example if you watch a comedian and laugh at a joke, you could analyze why exactly you found it funny. This could be expanded to many people, examining patterns of opinion to create more generalized theories. The key is that there is always a reason, and how and a why
