No purpose. We just observe this random event happening while we zoom around on our spherical space rock. I too ask myself this question but it only leads to wanting to kill myself but the chemicals in my brain doesn't want that so I create purpose for myself: Get money so my body and brain can feel good. So that's basically the existance of homo sapiens summarized. gl hf don't die.
The universe is here for self-preservation; atoms live for too long, life lives for too long, stars live for too long, and galaxies live for too long.
