If all restrictions on experimentation were removed, if we could freely do whatever unethical things we wanted and use human test subjects with no limitations, how quickly would things progress? Are there things we could figure out that couldn't be figured out any other way like all of the secrets of life, death, and consciousness? How much are we being held back?

No!!!! I NEED to hear my test subjects describe their searing pain and agony in human language. It can't be eeeek and ackkks, it has to be genuine human suffer- I mean reporting.
