i guess it depends on your college, because at my uni they had to implement anti-loser protection mechanisms because people signed up for too many hard classes at once. for example, they started requiring you to see an advisor in order to register, and penalized repeating classes too many times. for some people over-extending themselves is a legitimate problem, for rare others it's an opportunity. If I have to give one tip for college, remember to network.
