The multiverse is real
Quantum physics without parsimony is not science, and you need a theory of everything to be falsifiable for this to matter.
>>17041864is this guy famous for something other than his popsci griefing?
>>17041880he's the guitarist of led zeppelin
>>17041866Everything is possible and was always possible independent of other events. Possibility is adequate for embedded observers to interpret as reality. Nothing exists, but because we're possible, we feel like we do, and can pretend that anything we do matters, even though you have lived every possible life already. Done.

>>17041880He helped to create string field theory child.
Current Scientific Status: We cannot observe anything "before" the Planck Epoch (the first $10^{-43}$ seconds of the universe). Our current laws of physics (General Relativity) cannot describe the singularity, so we need a Theory of Everything (combining gravity and quantum mechanics) to answer this definitively.
Males aren't a natural fractional distillation, unlike females (From another universe) Don't let the woman ruin the world with incompatible views they are accustom to.
>>17041880He's famous for making a Beta-Troon in his mother's basement as a high school student
the big bang and blackholes are incompatible with relativity
SO how many mutliverse's are there?Where did they come from?how could we detect them? How could we travel to themHow do we know if your universe collides with another?

uh huh. And so is M-Theory.
>>17042319Yes. All the best did. Check out Abraham.
He's always got that super duper kind of energy, wouldn't be bad at parties, my guess.
>>17041864Worries about an electron going left or right, doesn't worry about new universes popping up left and right. If this isn't religion, nothing is.
>>17041894>TAKE ME SERIOUSLY!!!
>>17042037Dont question modern physics you heretic
>>17041864If there exists at least one universe where the multiverse is real, then the multiverse is real for all of them by definition.Probability approaches 1 given there are infinite universesQED
Why cannot quantum theory be applied to the macro ?
>>17043517humm stars? solids? semiconductors? bose einstein condensates? superconductivity? cosmological constant?
>>17043517Statistical averages, mostly. Let's say you graph a random walk where each step is 50/50 +2/-1. Zoomed in you'll see fluctuations deviating from the average all over the place. But zoomed out far enough and you'll see the whole graph is pretty much just a line with a slope of 1. Those random fluctuations become irrelevant at those scales.
So relativity and quantum mechanises are wrong?
