How can you not reverse myopia but at the same time people can get hyperopia? This makes no sense. What's the current protocol for fixing myopia? How far away do I have to be from an object I'm staring and and for how long until I start seeing a difference?
>>17043585Because you can't actively make your eye muscles less strong, you can train them to be stronger but that just makes the myopia worse. You can only go outside and let your eyes relax and hope that fixes it. If you are reading this you are too old for that to work.

>>17043585Myopia is reversible it's just that so much of 21st century life involves bright lights and close up reading that you'll basically have to be a hermit for a long time if you want to significantly restore your sight without sugery.
>>17043640No. The eye socket is too narrow, and there is no space to focus far. If it's narrow in one direction you get astigmatism, and I suppose in the rare case when it pushes the eye in you get farsighted. But most farsightedness is from mismeasurement, you are supposed to be a couple of D farsighted compared to the optician zero, so that you can see in the dark.
>>17043585Trust the eyence. Lol.
>>17043729It's thought that flexing your eyeball muscles is for focusing close, you can look at it in an encyclopediaYou can think about moving the back of your eyeball to meet the focal point, I haven't had alot of success with that yetYou can get a small improvement by looking through your eyelashes, not squinting hard, slant eyeYou can close one eye and finger your temple and that's probably closest to what we're trying to get hands free?
