Because Scientic Method is based on empiricism, and empiricism debunks itself (because it's circular reasoning) how can we determine that it correctly predicts the world? Physicalists love to use science to explain the world, but their philosophical trust in science and logic isn't very solid. It's why materialists always lose when it comes to presuppositionalism, they can't base their own logic on anything.
