Why are fractals catnip for midwits and charlatans? IDGI why are these retards so attracted to fractals?

Fractal art looks cool and drawing that connection to naturally occurring fractals makes them feel meaningful. Then you introduce that it's "a math thing" without ever diving into what that math actually entails. Now you have a perfect recipe for the claim that you've discovered some secret code to unlocking the universe.

The people who would bother to refute your pseudo-math will be ignored by the people who understand none of it and just want to hear a cool story. And explaining the triviality of natural fractals (ie. natural processes following the same pattern on large scales as they do on small scales) is just going to be translated as "as above so below" shit by the dumbass hippies that follow this shit.
