I'm studying for the SAT to go back to uni and I thought this was going to be really easy but I can't factor a quadratic equation

Khan academy is a great place to refresh your undergrad fundamentals.

the test is in 4 days

read the OP again, but slowly

get AI to teach it you like everyone else

Well then I guess you are just S.O.L you should have known better. I can't even imagine not being able to do basic algebra but maybe it can be learned in a day or two depending on how much you don't remember.

And don't do this >>17049413
Ever... It seems convenient at first but it will actually lobotomize you if you lean on it to much. Being able to look for and find information is a skill on it's own. 3very professor that utters the phrase "Just use AI :^)" when you ask a basic question is an actual vile demon creature trying to ruin your life, imo.
>>
>>17049450
Pure nonsense. Like saying a professor/tutor is a crutch and you need to learn it on your own. Whatever that means
>>
>>17049458
The point of a pulley system is to outsource strength to machinery, not good if you want to get stronger. The point of AI is outsourcing cognition to a machine, not good if you are trying to get smarter. A professor or tutor is completely different because they don't solve problems for you.

>can't factor a quadratic equation
Do some playing around. I implore you to expand (x+y)^2 and see where that takes you.
If you can't rederive the quadratic formula from scratch you're ngmi

you're not getting more than a 600-650. apply to test optional schools or try studying again. deficiencies in math are something you can only correct with persistent study over the course of several months, not a few days or even a couple of weeks. that's why people rarely improve their first score. you're being tested on stuff you learned over many years, and it takes a similar time scale to acquire the right skills

Yeah, it's definitely over for you.

use stewarts precalculus

Khan is okay, I dried up the content base for some problems sometimes, also the video explanation is time consuming.

I strongly advise mathacademy though. Best thing I ever used and seen of algorithmic adjustment coupled with regular retesting. It is paid though. 49$ month. I said I'll try one month and extended without a second thought.

Mathematical Foundations I,II,III is the fastest direct way for an adult learner to step up the game in preparation for uni.

Did all three in preparation for applied math course in Germany. My weak spots got leveled up decently. Just don't mind the XP stuff and don't believe the 1 XP means X amount of minutes - just keep going.

I had terrible teachers in high school, holy shit. Like every class was
>ok here we're going to be learning this
>ok heres the homework
>test is on friday
no explanations as to what this is useful for, why we're learning any of this, I had no fucking idea what a derivative actually was until I had graduated, but I knew how to calculate one.

Math sat is so free I 720 first time without trying and could’ve done better if I didn’t do it so early during my high school
>>
>>17049234
use this, crazy fast. MIP solvers shit their pants at after witnessing it's effectiveness.
https://fmv.jku.at/kissat/
Keep in mind that there some other solver better optimized for UNSAT or non CDCL SAT solvers which might be more efficient at solving your particular problem.

OP I'm a fucking moron and understood that shit in highschool

You can do it

How much did foundations I-III cover in terms of semesters or conent?

Curious because I'm 89% through foundations II.
