AI is going to be wonderful for people who can properly evaluate its abilities and its limitations. People who think it "can't do anything but predict the next token" are going to be left behind. Likewise people who think it's some magical genie that can grant all of their wildest dreams are going to put their resources into places where they'll quickly be lost. AI is a new tool and like all tools, it has a set of uses and a set of dangers from misuse. Being able to weld it effectively is a new life skill that some will have/develop and others will be fucked not being able to do.
