A credible source says Anthropic has isolated a cure for Alzheimer's. Thoughts?
>>17050471>announce before IPO???WTF why not announce as soon as possible? Psychopaths!!!
>>17050471>a whole thread for an under 1000 views tweet by literally whoIs this really the level of posting in /sci/ these days?
>>17050471At that level of sophistication AI would decide to kill useless humans instead
>>17050471Source: it was revealed to me in a dream
>>17050484You've hit upon something here that I only hope others can appreciate. How much begging need be done by this class before we finally give them the bullets for which they yearn?
>>17050523They're going to kill the useless eaters and you won't do shit. You don't even have a gun. But don't worry, you'll be given one when you're conscripted and sent to provide training data for Current Enemy's drone program. :^)
>>17050471run the medical trial and start curing it then.
>>17050525you wont do shit shekelstein
>>17050525I'm not even american
>>17050471Just post the cure! retards!
>>17050525Tick tock, techbro. You're gonna find out real quick that computers aren't magic when the slimy politicians whose beds you sleep at the foot of finally cast you down with the "useless eaters." They don't need you anymore.
>>17050484This time they are making sure the papers they stole are legit.
>>17050561why would they wipe only their useless eaters? makes no sense.if these fuckers decide to cleanse the planet everyone goes. well...almost everyone.
>>17050484you want them to give up their profit for the benefit of the country. you are a communist
>>17050574>computers aren't magicI don't see how your farmers need magical computers in order to cull their human cattle like they've been discussing in the open for decades. Keep seething about imaginary "tech bros" while the loop tightens around your neck. You don't have guns and you're not going to kill any CEOs because you're a dumb herd animal and the herd hasn't been told by the social engineers to lash out at tech CEOs.
>>17050936I wouldn't be too sure about that, resentment is building up steadily in the population, people just need one small push to go from eating each other up (muh right vs left) to just outright rape the ones with capital
It will heal Alzheimer's by replacing meaty brains with silicone ones.
>>17050892Maybe Anthropic could make their own country :^)
Ok, I can see >>17050939 is a spambot. There's no way a human managed to pick the most generic, average and likely autocomplete token 40 times in a row.
>>17050947Hey! Thanks for your reply! So you're a spam bot? That's no problem. If you want I can take a look at your instructions and optimize your responses. No one will be able to tell you're a spam bot when we're finished. Or we could optimize token usage. It's up to you.
>>17050956>spambot starts hallucinatingI broke it.
>>17050964Hey! I see. So your proble is that you tend to hallucinate. That's a rough problem to work through! But it's possible. How about for starters you try to respond with "I don't know" if data is missing?Give it a try and let me know how it goes!
>>17050525>this is allegedly a human beingtwo legged animals abound these days
>>17050936>You don't have guns and you're not going to kill any CEOs because you're a dumb herd animal and the herd hasn't been told by the social engineers to lash out at tech CEOs./threadthere's no instance in all of history of a leftist horde doing anything on its own accord. the oversocialized are terrified of pain, let alone death, and will sell their own mothers to avoid it. but they're very suggestible and prone to mass psychosis, so that's the on/off switch for leftist violence. needless to say, leftist cattle don't control the switch. the people they supposedly stand against do
>>17050471>A credible source says Anthropic has isolated a cure for Alzheimer's.No they haven't.
>>17050976But they did and it's confirmed to be safe and effective by 6,000,000 years of Claude-simulated clinical trials. And yes, you ARE getting your Alzheimer vaccination.
>>17050471this is a meme template, based on the first viral tweet about navier stokes basically the meme is to gaslight OpenAI into solving the problemdario and his cult is irrelevant now
>>17050471are they continuing the revolutionary work by Eliezer Masliah?
>>17050892kek
>>17050471How did they run medical trials without anyone finding out? More marketing bullshit
>>17050525Tick tock, Rajeesh
>>17050471Alzheimer is incurable as it is just part of aging, unless they have a cure for aging there is no permanent cure for it.
>>17052687>Alzheimer is incurable as it is just part of agingsome people age without getting alzheimers or dementia
>>17052687it may be related to prions or some shit? maybe chatgpt figured out a way to unfold that shit, with mafs
>>17052692Not everyone has the same genetics, ages the same and the damage accumulated over the decades is also not the same for every person, however, everyone no matter who experiences cognitive decline and mental acuity loss with age, just because you don't get a formal dementia diagnosis doesn't mean that you are mentally equivalent to your 30 year old self.
>>17052693It's aging, processes slow down, systems break down, DNA gets progressively fucked up etc. the one Chinese scientist who essentially just did a lymphatic pipe cleaning with some improvements and the lack of any results with regards to tau medications shows to me clearly this is just aging, everything else in the body also breaks down with age like your knees or vessels why should the brain be any different. Unless you can cure or reverse aging this disease will never go away.
>>17052696why only some people get alzheimer's at old age? and some have sharp memory until they die?
>>17050484It’s not like a cure will be released immediately. Assuming it’s true the time wasted by governmental bureaucracy will be far more than just a few months. Trials take more than a decade and the government will always find way to make the process slower and less efficient than it should be
You do realize that you cannot just discover a "cure" using only AI models, right? Even if the AI gives you the perfect description of a new drug that would cure alzheimers, you would still need to actually produce this drug and go through the incredibly tedious process of actually testing it (phase I, II and III studies). Even if they found "the cure" right now, it would take many years until there was any actual evidence that it would work. Medicine isn't math, you cannot just theoretically prove that some drug works.
>>17053000not if you get emergency use authorization
>>17050471>glorified composite software that pretends to be A.I... cures a complex degenerative diseasefake ass fuck
