But somehow I mastered polygons, tessellation, addition and subtraction and even long division. The best assets or environments I've made always required squeezing numbers out of them.
Never in a real way since I would consider angle calculations as arithmetic on angles.I just can't believe the last 10 years of my life have been ah huge waste of time and money.

For example the lift force / energy use of a butterly in flight. Seeing a fountain and wondering how the water particles spread and conglomerate. During work I use it a lot too ofc, but engineering becomes different in project management. I tell people what I want from them, i stead of calculating it myself which is unfortunate

A cheese is 88 mm wide and 73 mm tall rectangle. The cracker is 120 mm wide and 60 mm tall rectangle. And you want to put the cheese on top. It is impossible to put the cheese on the cracker without some of the cheese dangling over the edge. But you don't like that. So the question becomes: what is the minimum percentage of the area of the cheese that must be dangling over the edge of the cracker?I didn't really have this problem because it was a problem I saw on facebook. But I solved it anyway and it involved quite a bit of maths. The optimal solution is found when, assuming the centers of mass of both the cheese and the cracker line up, the cheese is rotated about 10.23 degrees and the minimum dangling cheese is 16.8%.
I once uses ANSYS to calculate time and temperature needed to dry wet books in an oven without burning them. It was 4.5-6 h at 120 C or smth. They baked well, dried, but glue that holds pages together was fucked.
