When will AI Solve this?
Three body problem?In what context>
>>17052826solve what?
>three star system got a planet in fucked up orbit>planet somehow develops life and super intelligent ayys>ayys be like UOOOOHHH WE JUST WANT A NICE PLACE TO LIVE>they could literally build whatever they want, on the planet on a space station and leave>but no, they have to travel light years to earth and invade
>>17052826well can't you numerically solve it tho?Why do you need a closed form elementary solution for a nonlinear system of differential equations at the first place...
>>17052893your reading comprehension
>>17052826The three body problem is solved as having no analytic solution, that is, there is no equation that directly tells you this is where the bodies are going to be 657789 years from now, without having to calculate all the time inbetween.Unless I misunderstand something.
>>17052908That isn't even the most retarded part.>let us create a virtual reality game so the humans can learn our history and sympathise with us, even though they'll serve no purpuse and we'll kill them all when we arrive>also let us make this guy see a countdown to our arrival in front of his eyes for no reason, that'll be a fun prank

>>17052893I mean atm the sophons monitoring everything. they even see this post
this shit was probably the worst book I've read so far, absolutely fucking atrocious gigadry writing>it's a translationSupposedly even the original is considered badly written among Chinese peoplecharacters and plot with absolute 0 depth or interesting ideasthe sophon bullshit lolSupposedly it gets more interesting in the other 2 installments but the writing stays ass from the little I've read of the second one so idk if it's worth it.
3 body black holes, two of the largest could centre around till collision and the third gets kicked out, like stars.
>>17053035>Supposedly it gets more interesting in the other 2 installmentsI'm afraid it's not true, the other 2 books get even more outlandish and the third one in particular is a chore to read. If you're referring to the writing specifically, I didn't notice any difference from the first one.
>>17053035It was censored in china and released with the chapters out of order, the beginning is buried somewhere in the middle of the book. And Chinese is just like that, the total number of standard characters is 8105 or something like that. Everything sounds silly and childish when translated literally, because the vocabulary is so small.
