I wonder if the freefall of actual learning in our education system has anything to do with it. I have kids, so I get to hear all the stories about how kids talk about their traumas, in tiktok speak of course, and get a passing grade whether they bother showing up to class or not. Every generation has their misfits, but everyone is a headcase now, and there's no such thing as pass or failure. Hopefully I drop dead of some short, sweet pancreatic cancer before I hit my 70s so I don't have to see what these fucks have in store for us as adults with actual power.
