nicotine lozenges
>>17059628I got a chantix prescription, shit felt like a cheat code for quitting.
>>17059628I went cold turkey and bought a vape. I also got a teeth cleaning right before quitting because avoiding getting teeth stains from cigs was another reason to quit. The vape seemed to work for me because it satisfied the nicotine impulse mostly, and the oral/manual activity fixation. Just being able to have something I held in my hand and could take drags from was satisfying some aspect of the habit with the vape you can reduce the Nicotine content of the juice. I am not at this level yet but I have heard of people tapering to vape juice with 0% nicotine (like non-alcoholic beer or something). I have tapered and reduced and it does feel good to be feeling a bit healthier in terms of being able to do cardio for more than 5 minutes without getting winded and sweating profusely
