What's the scientific way to fix your dental arch after the age of 25 when apparently your skull has fused? I'm 27 and whenever I smile you can clearly tell I have a narrow arch as it's hard for me to smile and I have that dark area to the sides of my teeth which in a person with a normal arch should not be there and the whole space should be filled up by their teeth.

>>17067114The skulll fuses around age 18-21 at the center of the palate where before itβs got some soft tissues. The expander tears this open and it fills with blood and then turns to bone. Once it is fused you need to get braces to plan for a surgery in which the maxilla is removed and split and then the teeth are lined up properly and then they use titanium plates and screws to screw it into place and the bone heals and your palate is correct now. It can help with tooth wear and sleep apneas and definitely removes the weird uncanny autist look that narrow arch gives the Lower third of the face.
