Experimentalists think they're safe from Al because robots still suck at outside world, but the truth is that Al is going to do all the experimental design and analysis while humans will be reduced to technician monkeys doing the grunt work and following its instructions. Ergo, all the major credit will belong to the AI.
>>17067162it isn't, it also hasn't made any mathematical breakthroughs, despite you spamming 20 threads about it, because it literally took existing proof off the internet lol.i'm sorry you invested way too much money in AIslop subscriptions and feel that you have to double down on it now, hope you learn to cope with it some day.
>>17067162You clearly don't understand A.I(its not true A.I but whatever)Yes this "A.I" can do stuff on its own. Essentially its like a glorified calculator but in the same way you use a calculator... You have to set the equations or parameters for the "A.I" to work in. Its still all set/directed by the user. So the "A.I" system itself is not truly independent or representative of artificial intelligence. Its a glorified calculator.
>>17067162It just means we have better ways to design experiments and crunching/devising proper statistic procedures and theory to work around a changing landscape. Same way fast and affordable computing permanently experiment design and analysis and the entire field of statistics. Back in the day a ton of the shit we knew couldn't actually be feasible done in real time or at all, or were pretty much theoretical.
>>17067203The calculator analogy is horrible and you should feel bad for using it. At least critique shit right instead of using the nerd version of burger analogies
>>17067315They're correct, the A.I we have is fake shit. Its really not much better than a glorified calculator.
>pepe OP>profound mental retardation statementchecks out
>>17067317>Its really not much better than a glorified calculator.Again not really accurate. Shitty and incorrect critique is ewually as retarded as the shit OP throws out by the second.
>>17067162>because robots still suck at outside worldkek you have no idea what is coming. give it 6-12 months until you start going "huh?", and like 3 years until those fuckers are already in quite a lot of places in parallel to humans, doing simpler jobs. shit will pick up steam, 5 years from now people will really start to get scared they can actually really replace them, in 10 years it will be normal for a lot of humanoid robots to do a lot of jobs, like a fucking lot of them. 15 years....who fucking knows. things move so fast it's hard to really predict.15 years ago was like one year before the 2012 apocalypse nonsense.
>>17067203>is not truly independentThank fuck.>glorified calculatorIt's spelled "wishing machine".
