In the year 9595, I'm kinda wondering if man is gonna be alive?
doubt. but something will
>>17076777The Annunaki have learned from their mistakes and they're cooking up something better for next time
>>17076777It depends if we survive the late stage capitalism we are living in right now. Capitalism pigs (right-wing politicians and companies) are literally destroying our society, our body, our mind and our environnement.
>>17076777I've jumped all over time. One story is when I took a historic walk in Greece to the bayside in the near future. The tourist walk ways were so packed, so crowed with people it was just like one big line. Stark contrast to the past, and people can't sustain themselves.
>>17076814Ive been hearing the term late state capitalism for over 15 years now, does it ever end or will there be an even later stage capitalism soon?
>>17076777I know that song. Also nice identical consecutive digits.
>>17076929The term late stage capitalism is over a century old. If leftypol trannies possessed the ability to feel intellectual shame they wouldn't be leftypol trannies.
>>17076929Late stage happens when economic expansion is not possible due to some physical constraint, which in our society is often due to a lack of oil, water, electricity. When this happens the average business is breaking even and alleged profits are mostly spent doing maintenance. Interest rates go to zero and only workers and landlords make money.. Capital, equipment, machinery and knowledge become worthless. As land and labor becomes the source of wealth the economy and politics shift into a classical feudal mode where power and money depends on how much land and laborers you command.
>>17076777no, but woman willlook up IVF
>>17078056Which is why they get uppity against any technological solution which make their prophecies of physical constraints obsolete and vestigial, resulting in the active sabotage of anything that expands the space for growth. The only times they pull out post-scarcity rhetoric is with imaginary scenarios where they're in power.
>>17076777>I'm kinda wondering if man is gonna be alive?Nope. The intelligent ones create new technology and the psychopaths will use anything available to them to rule regardless of the outcome. Just like some people are adredaline junkies who push it too far and get killed there are psychos who become military leaders and politicians who will keep pushing to defeat others and that will trigger an uncontrolled escalation. The weapons (nuclear, chemical, biological) are under constant development and improvment and will be used to their full potential. In addition the rate of discovery and use of chemicals and drugs is chaning the environment faster than the normal slow evolution process much of the fallout has not been seen yet. Some humans will survive but in a much reduced type of civilization. Alien life needs to be smart enough to develop sophisticated technology, adventurous enough to use it to explore, but peaceful enough not to destroy themselves, its a delicate balance, maybe that is why we do not see any.
>>17078056they are trying to get around this with true robots laborers(like the ones in cartoons) but they will never be efficient enough and require heavy maintenance. So the rich are stuck with human workers for importan stuff. The menial shit will be robot workforces that are limited. In terms of resources they will just do space resource extraction to create a new economic boom. We wont reach late stage until several centuries in the further by then we will probably have a better economic solution or even reach a post economic society.
Which is to say, Zager Evans actually meant '95 '95 as in 2095.We're not that far away anymore.
