Not just in terms of regrowth, balding, etc but also body function, interactions with the rest of the body, social dynamics, etc
>>17077497Personally, I have always wondered about the people doing the core research into toothpastes. I mean orange gels came out of nowhere. Some skunkworks lab looking into enamel regrowth and microbot polishers.Amazing times.
>>17077497We are talking about pubic hair removal, right Doc? For the gymnastics competitions, right?
>>17077571>Some skunkworks lab looking into enamel regrowthPlease for the love of god make this work soon. Dentists have no clue what they are doing.
>>17077609>Dentists have no clue what they are doing.Dentists are the feeder mechanism for Big Toothpaste. Sell them on “white and bright”.Our forefathers were better for not needed a toothbrush. A natural diet of twigs and gravel will do you just fine.
>>17077497It's high time some balding nerd solves the issue. Imagine the worship from every single male on this wretched Earth... Do it nerd!
>>17077497>le science will save uschlorine dioxide has been known for decades. its a simple molecule. it regrows hair and more.
>>17077497Well in the year 2000 it was discovered that HRT cures male-pattern baldness, but it feminizes males so its not ideal, they've just been working from that point onwards for the last 20 years or so, trying to develop hormone medications that only target the process destroying hair follicles (really its causing them to go dormant) and so we get things like finasteride and dutasteride which try to block the effect of DHT. Dihydrotestosterone is what actually triggers the follicles to go dormant. If you block its effects most of the follicles return, but effectiveness is still incomplete if you start very late, and so if the norwood reaper already got you and you're fully bald, you have to use hair transplants or a wig. There are some experiments in the last 6 years with deoxyribose gel, its a sugar gel rubbed into the scalp that apparently stimulates the follicles to begin producing hair, but its only been tested in rats, there's no telling what will happen when humans use it. Its probably going to see commercialization though. What would be very cool is a peptide or small molecule to trigger the cell cycle of the hair-producing stem cells inside the follicles, that would be a truly revolutionary treatment that would enable regrowth without hormonal effects
