Everyone uses this image ironically. What are some REAL examples of this?I think it is refusing life saving treatment. Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood because they are retarded but Einstein refused to be saved because he was just like, "Why fight nature and artificially extend my time? Seems pointless to me." Lol.

>>17078494I watch a video a couple years ago about a way some archeologists attempted to estimate how much text followed a scroll fragment. The idea was that a tear or degradation in the scroll that occured while it was rolled up would often penetrate multiple layers so you could look at the overlap to estimate how "early" in a scroll the fragment was.The discussion then went on to the actual math of this and essentially went like this:>low IQ: model the scroll as concentric circles for a simple but flawed estimate>midwit: model as archimedian spiral for an extremely tedious but mathematically sound analytical solution>high IQ: the scroll would have to be absolutely massive for the two solutions to diverge beyond practical margin of error. Just model it as concentric circles. The method didn't end up working anyway due to the fact that scrolls were often not tightly rolled and the idea ended up getting scrapped. But it was a novel idea at the time and the math portion is relevant to your question.

>>17078494Einstein said "I did my part in life" and he was one of the very few people who could say so and be fully satisfied.
>>17078494Pic related comes to mind. I also remember hearing (sorry, anecdotal) that there were issues in a few hospitals with surgeons being very reluctant to get the vaccine (no doubt nurses were fine with it). Putting stuff in your body besides the basics is in general a big no no for intelligent people (who take care of themselves btw). I also suspect the results would have been more drastic if the educated group only included STEM people and surgeons for instance.
>>17079045>Einstein said "I did my part in life" and he was one of the very few people who could say so and be fully satisfiedOf course, he stole the contributions of better physicists and engineers. His Nobel Prize needs to be retroactively taken and given to Max Planck.

>>17078494>What are some REAL examples of this?Rewilding maybe? In the regard that ecology and environmentalism has been periodically bogged down by a lot of nit-picky, midwit, analytical, bullshit work vs the reality that you can actually just periodically dump a bunch of plants and animals in a space, leave it alone, and it'll "grow back" perfectly fine because most modern 'complicated' human interference is in fact often maladaptive and disruptive.
