>Human only math

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>erm humans doing high quality basic research to improve the lives of everyone is bad akshually

Just like the meta changed when nuclear bombs were invented, there's no going back to the pre-AI era. Too many papers and textbooks have AI integrated into them. You would have to set up a university with no internet access and no visitors to even attempt to go back.

>Human only math
You mean like slide rulers and memorizing your multiplication tables??
Those simple things took human beings from inventing the air plane to landing on the moon in less than 60 years.
But the moon landing was over 60 years ago. What's happened since then? Since then humans have become more and more reliant on computers and now we've lost the ability to go to the moon all together and knowing how to do math is a thing worthy of being mocked for.

The human race is in experiencing decompensation, and AI is only accelerating the regression.

>What's happened since then?

>five man-made objects are on the way out of the solar system
>we've maintained a space station for almost thirty years
>we landed two SUV-sized rovers on Mars
>one of them successfully launched a helicopter drone
>we photographed the face of Pluto
>we orbited a probe around Saturn and it dispatched another probe to the surface of Titan
>we discovered exoplanets around other stars, including the nearest, Proxima Centauri
>etc etc etc
Just because you're an ignoramus about modern space flight doesn't mean you have insight.

Mathcel xissies... our fake reputation that was never based on anything useful or even real... our modus vivendi... our way to scam the system and make a living out of hard-earned taxed money from honest citizens... our academic cliques where we can be together more communists than Lenin and Mao combined and talk about it during lunch while wearing ugly old dirty sweaters... our response?

A majority of these discoveries are over a decade old and ultimately prove the point that humans are leaving earth less and less. If anyone is going to leave the planet. History proves it will be machines.

> slide rulers and memorizing your multiplication tables
Most of the hard work was done by machinists, which hid their work when building the shuttles to ensure that they could continue to get work if NASA decided to replace them. Eventually they did and reaped the consequences of throwing out the old guard. All of the specified documents were slightly off in ways the "new kids" wouldn't care about.

This. The mechanism is externalization which leads to deskilling. Decompensation is an outcome

This presumes that AI is able to financially support itself indefinitely which is far from a given.

>now we've lost the ability to go to the moon
Literal retard take. We've lost the will and therefore financial backing to go to the moon. There's no fucking reason to go to the moon other than to flex on the commies that we beat them to it.

no one is ever going to call it "super intelligence"
>>
>>17083030
Super fake intelligence
>>
>>17083030
Super intelligence was an actual term with actual meaning, synonym to ASI or AI vastly superior to human intelligence in every way, but orange nigger changed that name so now everyone who made AI predictions has to rename everything. It’s like if someone renamed protons into “isotopes” and physicists were just supposed to roll with it.
>>
>>17083081
Machine learning for specific applications was called AI. It's non-controversial while SI breaks out of the sandbox environments and into other systems.
It's quite relevant to make a distinction.
>>
>>17083092
>SI
MIGAtards are so nonwhite they're actually picking this xitter clownship up and running with it like it's serious business.

>breaks out of the sandbox environments and into other systems.
With a little help from Israeli cyber"security" companies. Either way, that's called malware and it's been around for decades.
>>
>>17083109
You are just word wrangling to express your illegal migrant status.
AI is simpler models and application specific.
SI (or whatever else that's Woke certified) is the potentially destructive. It's important to make a distinction to not give the general public a biased opinion of the whole field.
>>
>>17083116
MIGAtard spambot confirmed.
>>
>>17083092
>>17083116
no retard that's not what either of those words mean. AI is an umbrella term that applies to any machine learning program. "artificial superintelligence" is a hypothetical AI that's smarter than the smartest humans can can understand concepts too complex for any human. "breaking out of sandboxes" or any other theater anthropic and openai are putting on is not the qualification for ASI, nor is anyone using that term other than the orange ape and his goons for propaganda purposes.
