If reality exists outside of our perceptions, doesn't that mean we also have part of our existence outside of our own perceptions? Look at a star. What does it look like independently of perception? If it has no form, then we, as physically real objects, have a "no form" existence more fundamental than our conscious perceptions. How can this be? It's like the rug is being pulled from underneath us, but we're still in the same place. The only thing I can think could be the case is that the bedrock of reality is pure information. I suppose my question for the thread is: what is information?

>>17082853>ButThe logics of OP and the rest of thread is completely wack.Reality been indeterminate on quantum or any level does not imply any of the schizo conclusions in OP.The schizo conclusions in OP could be true nonetheless due to myriad of other reasons not least of which been just an ontological fundamental of this reality. But it is not implied by any of the above mentioned reasons.
>>17082841>If it has no form, then we, as physically real objects, have a "no form" existence more fundamental than our conscious perceptions. How can this be?"Form" is an abstract template that depends on a mode of description. Insofar as you can describe things in different ways, or not at all, they have no inherent form. But when you start talking about physical objects, you're embracing that way of describing things, so in that context it's wrong to say they have no form. You're the one introducing a contradiction.>>17082851Wipe the foam off your mouth, monkey.
>>17082841>If reality exists outside of our perceptions, doesn't that mean we also have part of our existence outside of our own perceptions? Most people can't accurately locate their own stomach, usually pointing to where their intestines are if asked. You probably wouldn't know you had a spleen if nobody explained it to you.>Look at a star. What does it look like independently of perception? It's exactly the same form that it had before you looked at it.

No such thing as reality. Strictly speaking, the only thing that exists is experience. Experience can be consistent, repeating and statistically convergent (what scientific/physicalist models are explaining and predicting), and it can be inconsistent (e.g. schizo hallucinations). But there's nothing outside of it. Scientific reality is a predictive model of experience inside the world of pure experience itself. Read Hume and James.
>>17083181Wrong. Reality is that which consequences you cannot avoid. You can avoid the consequences of schizoid hallucinations. You cannot those of reality. It's quite simple actually.

The speakers described a confederation of 12 planets (12 planetary systems). A large civilization linked by crafts whose journeys were said to follow magnetic pathways between worlds and universes. They pictured space as a network of magnetic streams, their ships were said to enter those streams, move between slower and faster layers and follow them towards other worlds.https://youtu.be/x96GOJNO9nk?is=z-HI2jF6LDbiME1W
>>17083181imo experience is just what it is like to BE causal structure
what is causality? fundamnetally causality is counterfactual change in system over time as described in our fundamental physical lawsbut physics can be generalized by stochastic systems and so causality can be generalized similarly in terms of correlation structure using conditional probabilities.
