I've been on and off soc for years, and before soc existed it was other boards.I love this place. You meet the most interesting people, even the ones that are utterly insane. As someone who has worked since they turned 16, paid rent, done all that normie stuff you see how the other side lives.Asfor meaningful connections it depends on what you think is meaningful, I've made friendships that have lasted years, met up for just pure depravity with strangers on a few occasions. Hell the last time depravity was expected we ended up spending a few hours in a hotel having a cuddle while she told me how awful her partner was and it just ended up being a life experience talk.There's everything here. Whatever you want. You've just got to be seen and be understood. Don't fake it, be yourself and if who you are interests someone else you'll know about it.

There was one young woman who contacted me about FWB, but I blocked her after she ghosted our first meetup and tried to make it sound like my fault.Did start talking with someone through another board about two months ago, but I can't go into too much detail since she's /here/ and would hate if I talked about her. All I'll say is that she's an unironic 10/10 irl, but I liked her for her personality even before knowing what she looked like, and I think she likes me, too.
