The buckle is reused from the storebought belt I purchased about 3 years ago. It was falling apart and I promised myself I would make my next one. The fold-over is stitched in place, and the keeper is stitched in with it. It's a really nice touch that adds longevity. Burnished edges for ease of gliding the belt thru the loops on your jeans. I've taken some pottery classes for a year - mainly wheel throwing, it's fun but I don't think it's quite my thing - seems too quick and easy? At least taking classes in a studio streamlines things a lot. More recently I've been getting a lot into jewelry making, fine metalworking, borosilicate glass working, and stained glass! Jewelry making / lost wax casting / boro glass seems like a real challenge Im enjoying digging into more. I love working with metal and have dabbled in a couple of blacksmithing classes as well, and I'm also very experienced with machining on mills, lathes, etc. I'm also interested in sewing and cosplay, but honestly feel too old for the latter and don't have the space/time commitment for a sewing machine rn. I also know a lot about 3D printing and modeling as it relates to my work... Oh and I enjoy productive debates/discussions around AI in the creative industry!
