My handsome fella
this is my cat Demi, she was my cat for a while back when I was living at my parent's ranch.My sister had come home needing a place to stay I guess, and she brought her- but then she got back with her ex husband and left her with me, which was very good because she helped me cope with my severe ptsd when it was really bad. It was stressful taking care of her but she gave me someone to care about.She used to be so small she'd leave the property to the farm next door through the chainlink, and she'd climb trees with me. When I bought myself my first car, I wasn't licensed or confident driving so I would go for rides down the dirt road and I'd take her with me in the back seat. I missed doing that.Eventually when my parents abuse got worse I had to flee and I could not bring her with me, so I had to leave her with my sister, which is fine, because tensions between my sister and I had caused her to say "you stole that cat from me". I thought if that's how she wants to rewrite history, she can have her back then.After I left, eventually my sister left as well and took her with her. The last thing I heard, my cat ran away but generally hangs around the same suburban neighborhood my sister moved to and neighbors take care of her. I am not saddened by this, because she was alot like me and always wanted to be free. She was probably stressed out by my sister and her little family in that cramped house, so it's probably for the best. I wish she could move to istanbul or something where homeless cats are happy everywhere. All in all, I took care of her for about 3 years, she might be 6 years old now.

>>35438789This was my old girlfailure loser bed her and I slept on. She slept on the red and black buffalo blanket, or sometimes she'd sleep on a fur blanket. I kept the plaid blanket to remind me of her when I left and she kept the furry blanket.After I left, apparently my sister used my bedroom for storage and the whole room became a total disgusting mess, but she left the bed alone for my cat to sleep on.I went back home after about a year of being gone just to see her, though I was scared obviously of it not going well because of the tension between me and my family caused by the violence. However I went back to visit her to let her know I did not abandon her, I just had to go.It made my heart ache to see her sleeping on the blanket in the now-messy room, but she didn't seem mad at me, she didn't seem too bothered by much, though life there was never great to begin with. I cuddled her a bit and she went and did her own thing so I left.My family was always a bunch of pigs, especially my sister, but I'm glad my cat had the bravery to say fuck this shit and dipped.
