This naturally results in the other guy wanting nothing to do with you, and I suspect is the genesis of a lot of the "waahhhh everyone's a ghoster" meta threads. This also lines up with a lot of the absolutely histrionic attitudes ITT to whether someone has online status visible or not, and while I am not a foid and wouldn't know, probably lines up with the behavior of orbiters as well. TLDR /soc/ does have a lot of shitty, boring, flakey people, but any criticism regarding that should be preceded with some serious introspection, and that's the last word I'm gonna bother giving to people who are so hopelessly inept
