It sounds like structure and accountability are pretty key for you. Structure on the weekend can be a tough one, but its possible to build up routines to match what you have during the week, maybe studying at a library if grazing at home is an issue.
Accountability works best with another person. It could be with an anon on /soc/ who might be getting off on it, it could also be with friends/peers who're trying to lose weight. The goal is to stop you thinking about food as something you do in private. you're telling or showing somebody else.

Happy birthday. Having a few days off for that is totally fine, it'll slow progress down by half a week. If you're gorging yourself on presidents day that's something to feel bad about.
