You can torrent for free, no paying for vpns, worrying about doing it from home, needing to pay for a server. Also when you run an I2P server you help the network out.

Its slow, i2p routers get faster with longer uptimes so it's good to have a home server, not many sites to browser torrents although I'l be honest I don't know a ton about torrenting
